Overview
We are looking for a Pre-Season Merchandiser to join our China team and support the seasonal merchandising process across the region.
In this role, you will support the Senior Merchandising Manager in executing seasonal merchandising plans, including assortment coordination, product segmentation, go-to-market preparation, and cross-functional follow-ups. You will help translate global product direction into locally relevant assortments while ensuring timelines, data accuracy, and communication are well managed across Regional and Country teams.
What You'll Do

Support the development of seasonal assortments across WHS, DTC, and partnership channels, in line with global direction and regional needs

Assist in translating product strategy into clear assortment architecture and segmentation by channel

Work with Planning to support Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP), including preparation of product and sales analysis to support revenue and margin goals

Coordinate the pre-season GTM calendar, product launch flow, and key seasonal milestones with guidance from the Senior Merchandising Manager

Consolidate country and market feedback for Regional review to support final product line decisions

Support seasonal kick-offs and cross-functional alignment with country teams by preparing materials, tracking follow-ups, and ensuring timely communication

Monitor consumer trends, competitor activity, and product opportunities to provide insights that support assortment recommendations

Maintain assortment lifecycle updates, including adds, drops, and changes, while ensuring data accuracy and timely submissions

Support booking reviews by preparing analysis, tracking feedback, and ensuring alignment with merchandising strategy and financial goals

Partner with the Visual Merchandising team to review store capacity requirements and support preparation for each seasonal buy

What You'll Bring to the Table

Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, or related field

2–4 years of merchandising, buying, or planning experience; retail, footwear, apparel, or consumer goods experience preferred

Good commercial awareness with basic understanding of product lifecycle, assortment planning, and channel segmentation

Analytical, detail-oriented, and organized, with the ability to manage data, timelines, and follow-ups accurately

Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with internal stakeholders

Proficient in Excel, with experience using merchandising, planning, or reporting systems preferred

Curious about consumer trends, market competition, and product opportunities, with ability to summarize insights into practical recommendations
