About the Role The Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer in Motorola Solutions' Video Security and Access Control business will collaborate with the Sales team to develop and position MSI solutions. The role covers technical aspects of the sales process, including needs analysis, solution design, demonstrations, and post‑sale support to ensure customer satisfaction. What You'll Do
- Articulate the technology and demonstrate differentiated value propositions to both business and technical prospects
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and lead technical discussions
- Support Sales Team in responding to RFPs and in designing, specifying, and quoting systems
- Disseminate product knowledge by training the Sales Team, Manufacturing Representatives, Integrators, and End-Users
- Travel extensively to provide on-site support for integration, troubleshooting, and training
- Collaborate with Technical Support to provide post-sales support
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of Sales Engineering experience in a technology company
- Strong understanding of the video surveillance and access control market and technologies
- Fluency in English, French, and Dutch
- Self-motivated with a passion for technology and customer satisfaction
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Basic technical requirements: Windows troubleshooting tools, networking principles and IP, hardware and network equipment configuration/troubleshooting
- Preferred: University/technical college degree, prior surveillance industry experience, certifications for competitive products Nice to Have
