About the Role The purpose of this position is to drive new business objectives while managing and expanding the existing client base, targeting and converting key accounts, and achieving sales targets and revenue growth through personal performance. You will implement best practices in new equipment sales procedures and promote a customer-oriented service aligned with CFAO's strategic vision.
What You'll Do
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs and demonstrate how products and services meet those needs.
- Prospect via cold-calling and canvassing for new business.
- Complete weekly call sheets and submit on schedule.
- Answer questions about product ranges, prices, availability, uses, and credit terms.
- Quote prices, credit terms, and prepare tender documentation in a timely manner.
- Highlight product features based on customers' needs and technical capabilities and limitations.
- Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements.
- Ensure mutually agreeable solutions to customer problems and deliver on promises.
- Maintain customer records using automated systems.
- Identify prospective customers through directories, leads from existing clients, and attendance at trade shows and conferences.
- Prepare sales contracts and submit orders for processing.
What We're Looking For
- Sales and Marketing knowledge of principles for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy, product demonstrations, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
- Customer and Personal Service knowledge for assessing needs, meeting quality standards, and evaluating satisfaction.
- English Language proficiency (structure, grammar, spelling).
- Computers and Electronics knowledge.
- Production and Processing knowledge (materials, production processes, quality control, costs).
- Mathematics knowledge (arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics).
- Administration and Management knowledge (strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, coordination).
- Economics and Accounting knowledge.
- Information Ordering ability to arrange actions in a sequence.
- Category Flexibility ability to generate or use different grouping rules.
