About the Role Jones Day Milan offers trainees and new lawyers the chance to develop their practice within a global law firm. The office emphasizes cross-border collaboration and client service, with opportunities to work with colleagues across Europe, the Middle East, and worldwide. What You'll Do
- Trainees receive work assignments from across a variety of practices and participate on transnational teams, collaborating with lawyers and interacting with clients around the world.
- New Lawyers participate in the New Lawyers Academy and related training, and may be assigned to the firm's New Lawyers Group for ongoing development. What We're Looking For
- Pre-Graduation Interns: law students in their fourth or fifth year with superior academic records from leading Italian universities.
- Interest in cross-border legal practice and in joining a firm with a culture of teamwork and client service.
- Ability to prepare application materials (cover letter, transcript, CV) and apply via the Firm's Application Portal; participation in JD Masterclass program (two to three attendees chosen at start of year) held in Paris; annual event to develop cross-border skills in M&A and litigation scenarios.
- Students who may be offered trainee positions based on performance as interns, including the opportunity to complete pratica anticipata in the Milan Office. Compensation & Benefits
