About the Role
As Practice Manager, you'll play a hands-on leadership role, balancing team development, clinic operations, client care, and veterinary nursing.
Working closely with the Veterinary Director and regional leadership team, you'll help create a positive, high-performing clinic culture while supporting the day-to-day success of the practice. Your responsibilities will include leading and developing team members, supporting recruitment and rostering, driving operational efficiencies, maintaining exceptional client service standards, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
This isn't a desk-only role. You'll remain actively involved in the clinic through regular veterinary nursing and reception shifts, leading from the front and supporting the team where needed.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys helping others succeed and leads by example.
You'll bring:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Practice Manager, Head Nurse, Senior Veterinary Nurse, or similar leadership role
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills
- Confidence supporting nursing, reception, and operational functions of the clinic
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A positive, collaborative approach and genuine passion for building team culture Most importantly, you're someone who understands that great patient care starts with a happy, supported team.
