About the Role
The Practice Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Franklin Primary Care clinic under the supervision of the Director. This rural health clinic role covers operational, financial, clinical, performance-improvement, program development, and patient care outcomes, and serves as the primary resource for staff while collaborating with hospital departments to maintain quality programs and services.
What You'll Do
- Establish positive working relationships with providers and act as a conduit for departmental and organizational communication among staff and others.
- Own customer relations and customer service initiatives; manage core departmental processes and support organizational change.
- Ensure compliance with State, Local, and Federal regulatory requirements and meet departmental, professional and technical standards.
- Participate in establishing and monitoring the annual department budget and develop action plans to improve financial performance.
- Analyze financial performance daily/weekly/monthly; work with department leadership to identify opportunities and implement action plans.
- Understand and monitor key performance indicators (Meaningful Use, Provider Dashboards, Revenue Cycle Metrics) and ensure targets are achieved.
- Recruit, retain, and develop staff; manage performance and support individual professional goals.
- Work independently and as part of a team on projects and events; coordinate multiple aspects of complex initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Associate's degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience OR Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Certification/ Licensure: Meets licensure/certification requirements per department and/or professional standards.
- Experience: At least 2 years of progressive supervisory experience; demonstrated ability to lead a team and work as part of a team; knowledge of services for diverse ages and multicultural populations.
- Skills: Strong collaboration, communication, and process-improvement capabilities; familiarity with regulatory compliance and budget management.
