Job title: Practice Clinical Resource Nurse
About the Role Reporting to the Practice Manager and under the direction of the provider, the Practice Clinical Resource Nurse delivers patient care including assessment, treatment, and care planning; provides training to clinical staff and serves as a resource to clinical and administrative teams.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate educational and training programs for all clinical staff.
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and workflows.
- Perform physical and psychosocial assessments.
- Triage patient phone calls.
- Document in the patient electronic medical record.
- Provide education to patients.
- Administer prescribed medications.
- Complete practice and unit-specific clinical skill competencies.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Two years of formal training or education beyond high school (e.g., Associate's Degree).
- Licensure: Registered Nurse Licensure through the State of New Hampshire Board of Nursing.
- Certification: Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification or Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers.
- Experience: Minimum of one year as a Registered Nurse in a medical or acute-care setting.
- Skills/Capabilities: Ability to coordinate educational and training programs; develop and implement clinical protocols and workflows; perform physical and psychosocial assessments; triage calls; document in the EMR; provide patient education; administer medications.
