About the Role Mission design and development of powertrain commodities (Transmission, Driveline, Engine, Exhaust, Suspension, Fuel and Cooling). The candidate should have hands-on experience in 3D modeling and drawing creation as per Engineering Change requests, and in drawing prints checking per Ford drafting standards. Proficiency in VSA/stack-up analyses to verify component and system compatibility and to ensure robust designs, with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and drawing standards, using Teamcenter/Vismockup/CATIA V5/3DX. What You'll Do
- Design and development of powertrain commodities across Transmission, Driveline, Engine, Exhaust, Suspension, Fuel and Cooling
- Create 3D models and drawings per Engineering Change requests; perform drawing prints checks per Ford drafting standards
- Conduct VSA/stack-up analyses to verify component and system compatibility and ensure robust designs
- Perform geometric compatibility studies including static and dynamic checks, clearances, variations, positional correctness, and interface completeness
- Work with Teamcenter, Vismockup, CATIA V5/3DX; ensure proficiency with GD&T and drawing standards What We're Looking For
- Experience in design and development of powertrain commodities (Transmission, Driveline, Engine, Exhaust, Suspension, Fuel and Cooling)
- Hands-on experience with 3D modeling and drawing creation per Engineering Change requests
- Ability to conduct VSA/stack-up analyses and geometry checks
- Knowledge of Ford drafting standards and GD&T
- Familiarity with Teamcenter, Vismockup, CATIA V5/3DX
