Job title: Power Platform Technical Specialist

About the Role Join Alstom in Bangalore as a full-time Power Platform Technical Specialist. You will develop custom applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, integrate Power BI, re-engineer legacy apps, and document solutions while collaborating with business teams to transform internal processes.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement custom solutions leveraging Office 365 services.
• Re-engineer legacy applications to PowerApps solutions.
• Guide development teams and citizen developers on solution design and technical implementation.
• Mentor developers and promote best practices in low-code development.
• Integrate Power BI reports and dashboards into PowerApps.
• Analyze business requirements and design solutions to meet these needs.
• Evaluate new Power Platform features, AI capabilities (Copilot), and emerging technologies for adoption.
• Document solutions through flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, etc.
• Perform unit and integration testing and meet agreed completion dates.

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience with Power Platform development, including PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Knowledge of Azure integration services, SharePoint, and Office 365 tools.
• Familiarity with SDLC tools and methodologies.
• Certification in relevant technologies is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AI features in Power Platform and Copilot.
• Willingness to embrace innovative features and emerging technologies.
• Experience mentoring teams and promoting best practices in low-code.
