  • Compare updated reports with existing outputs and source records to confirm data accuracy.

  • Investigate discrepancies and document findings, decisions, limitations, and corrective actions.

  • Provide knowledge transfer and a final handoff to personnel.

  • Required Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Query, DAX, data modeling, and report-performance troubleshooting.

  • SQL skills and experience connecting reporting tools to multiple enterprise data sources.

  • Working experience with Microsoft Access, including queries and legacy reporting logic; VBA knowledge is beneficial.

  • Experience validating data, reconciling conflicting results, and tracing report logic to source systems.

  • Ability to translate business reporting needs into maintainable technical solutions.

  • Clear communication, documentation, and independent problem-solving skills.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing, maintenance, reliability, quality, or operational reporting.

  • Experience with Databricks, Oracle, Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services, SharePoint, Power Automate, or enterprise gateways.

  • Experience modernizing or migrating legacy Access and spreadsheet-based reporting solutions.

  • What Success Looks Like

  • Priority reports and their data dependencies are clearly identified and documented.

  • Required data is mapped to the new source, with unresolved gaps assigned clear actions.

  • The agreed pilot reports refresh successfully from approved connections and retain required functionality.

  • Updated report results are reconciled with existing reports and accepted by business owners.

  • The organization receives the documentation, source files, and knowledge needed to support the completed work.

  • Remaining work, risks, and recommended next steps are clearly defined at closeout.
