Job Description The Power Automate Specialist also known as the RPA/BI Developer at TICT is responsible for supporting business applications, developing data models and algorithms, and creating dashboards and reports to aid decision-making. This role involves automating business processes through IT solutions, ensuring seamless interface and database connections, and translating business needs into technical specifications.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Business Application Support:

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for business applications to ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business activities.
• Collate and translate business needs into detailed technical specifications for development and implementation.
• Perform technical analysis and unit testing to ensure that solutions meet the specified requirements.

Dashboard and Reporting Development:

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to various stakeholders.
• Ensure that reports are accurate, timely, and align with business objectives.

Interface and Database Connections:

• Design, develop, and implement data models and algorithms that enhance business processes and decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data models meet business requirements.
• Manage and maintain interfaces and database connections between applications to ensure seamless data flow.
• Ensure that database connections are secure, reliable, and optimized for performance.

Process Automation and IT Solutions:

• Identify opportunities for process automation and develop IT solutions that streamline business operations.
• Implement automation tools and technologies, ensuring they are integrated effectively into existing systems.

Documentation and User Training:

• Create and maintain detailed documentation for all developed solutions and processes.
• Provide training and support to users, ensuring they are proficient in using the tools and applications.

Other Duties:

• Perform other duties as required to support the overall IT and business objectives.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in RPA and BI technologies to continually enhance TICT’s capabilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Qualification and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in RPA/BI development or a related role.
• Certifications in business intelligence (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau) or RPA (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere) are an advantage.
• Proven experience in supporting business applications, developing dashboards and reports, and automating processes.

Skills and Competency Requirement:

• In-depth understanding of business application support, data modelling, and algorithm development.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools and RPA technologies.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Strong skills in database management, including interface and connection optimization.
• Experience with process automation tools and technologies.
• Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
• Strong analytical skills for translating business needs into technical specifications.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and providing user support.
