Section: Description Lohachy Farms is seeking a Poultry Farm Supervisor to plan and oversee daily bird care, staff supervision, and farm biosecurity.
Section: Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise daily feeding, watering, and general care of birds
- Conduct regular health checks and coordinate treatment with the farm veterinarian
- Implement best practices to minimize mortality and maximize production efficiency
- Assign daily duties to farm workers and monitor performance
- Train staff on chick handling, feeding schedules, hygiene, and disease prevention
- Ensure safety and discipline among team members
- Monitor feed, vaccine, and medication stock levels
- Enforce farm biosecurity and hygiene protocols
- Ensure compliance with animal welfare and environmental standards
Section: Requirements
- Minimum qualification of HND in Animal Science, Production, or Nutrition Technology
- 3–5 years' experience in broiler production at a reputable company
