About the Role Join the Sukenik lab as a Postdoctoral Researcher focusing on intrinsically disordered proteins. The role centers on linking ensemble structure to function and developing high-throughput experimental methods to profile structure and function in pooled experiments.
What You'll Do
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to profile structure and function of intrinsically disordered proteins.
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
- Write manuscripts and fellowships, design posters, and assist in grant writing.
- Attend conferences and workshops.
What We're Looking For
- Ph.D. in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Molecular/Cell biology, or closely related field.
- Prior publication record in computational protein biophysics.
- Strong background in biochemistry, molecular biophysics, molecular biology, or similar fields; expertise includes protein expression and purification, cell and tissue culture, cloning, and next-gen sequencing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; be a strong and collegial team player; embrace open science policies including preprint publications; enthusiastic about learning new skills and methods.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $60,450 per year.
