About the Role The Maurer Lab in the Biophysics Program at the University of Michigan is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to contribute to ongoing projects and to initiate new work within the area of adeno-associated viral (AAV) vector biology. Start dates are flexible, from immediately to May 2027, with cross-campus collaboration across Biophysics, Microbiology and Immunology; this is a one-year appointment with anticipated extension for a second year. What You'll Do
- Contribute to ongoing research projects and help start newly funded projects within the scope of AAV vector biology.
- Work across the Maurer Lab and affiliated departments on the UM campuses, fostering collaboration and professional development.
- Collaborate with colleagues across campuses and participate in dissemination of findings. What We're Looking For
- Highly motivated researcher with interest/experience in cell and molecular biology and virology, with a focus on AAV vector biology.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-campus research environment.
- Start date flexibility from immediately to May 2027, with a one-year appointment and potential second-year extension.
- Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to contribute to manuscripts and presentations.
