About the Role Join the Lander laboratory at the University of Cincinnati as a Postdoctoral Fellow in molecular parasitology. Under the supervision of Dr. Noelia Lander, you will conduct research on cell signaling mechanisms in trypanosomes, leveraging genetic manipulation, cellular assays, and advanced imaging to advance strategies for Chagas disease control. What You'll Do

  • Conduct research experiments in molecular parasitology to understand cell signaling mechanisms in Trypanosoma cruzi with the aim of informing Chagas disease control strategies.
  • Perform functional analysis of proteins involved in cell signaling in Trypanosoma cruzi.
  • Learn and apply cellular/molecular biology techniques: cell culture, gene editing, fluorescence microscopy, gel electrophoresis, western blot, and phenotypic analysis of trypanosome cell lines.
