Job title: Postdoctoral Associate
About the Role The Wang Lab at the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate to study molecular mechanisms in hematological malignancies. The role focuses on understanding dysregulated processes driving leukemia initiation and therapy resistance, using genomics, epigenomics, and immunology, with a project leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as CRISPR-based tools, single-cell multi-omics, and cancer mouse models. Exceptional candidates may demonstrate early independence through the JAX Scholars Program.
What You'll Do
- Lead an exciting project applying CRISPR-based tools, single-cell multi-omics, and cancer mouse models to study leukemia biology.
- Utilize a multidisciplinary approach integrating genomics, epigenomics, and immunology to understand disease initiation and therapy resistance.
- Contribute to collaborative research in a vibrant team environment and communicate results effectively.
What We're Looking For
- PhD in cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, or related field.
- Strong training in molecular biology, cell biology, and next-generation sequencing.
- Experience in computational biology, genetic screens, and single-cell technologies preferred.
- At least one first-author publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
- Excellent writing and communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary ranges: Year 0-1: $65,589; Year 1-2: $67,318; Year 2-3: $69,095; Year 3-4: $70,521; Year 4-5: $72,877; Year 5-6: $75,569. Based on years of experience as a Postdoc.
