About this role
About the Role The successful candidate will report to the Quality Manager and bring automotive industry experience. This role requires hands-on welding and measurement tasks across multiple welding processes, along with basic computer skills and blueprint reading. What You'll Do
- Perform welding operations including projection weld, resistance weld and arc (MIG) welds as part of post-weld/destruct processes on automotive components.
- Operate plasma cutter, air hammer chisels, push-out and pull testers, saws, hand gauges and torque wrenches.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maintain basic computer records (Word, Excel), and assist with non-destructive testing equipment.
- Ensure quality and safety standards; able to work all shifts and overtime as required. What We're Looking For
- Experience in the automotive industry with welding types: projection weld, resistance weld and arc (MIG) weld.
- Ability to operate tools and measuring devices; knowledge of blueprint reading.
- Basic computer skills (Word and Excel).
- Willingness to work all shifts and overtime. Nice to Have
- Knowledge or exposure to non-destructive testing equipment. Compensation & Benefits
- Wage Range: CAD 22.00 to CAD 25.00 per hour.
