About the Role Post Production Operator – Mechanical performs basic manual tasks and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines to complete routine and repetitive assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. Working from process sheets or detailed instructions, this role helps keep high-volume production flowing and supports cross-functional teams within MDA Space. What You'll Do
- Performs various simple operations for high-volume production.
- Operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines.
- Performs basic validations prior to proceeding with subsequent production steps.
- Connects assembled units and initiates automated validation process.
- Feeds materials and pulls finished product from the line.
- Transports parts to the various workstations.
- Supports the Shipping/Receiving operations.
- Other related task as required. What We're Looking For
- Able to follow basic assembly drawings and detailed instructions.
- Ability to use production databases.
- Manual dexterity and ability to use simple hand tools.
- Team player.
- Education: High school education or equivalent.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience.
