What You'll Do
- Teach didactic courses, provide clinical oversight, and participate in on-campus skills days as needed.
- Maintain current direct patient care practice in the NP certification area.
- Contribute to the mission of the College of Nursing and the University through teaching, scholarship, and service activities.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in nursing with NP focus or master’s degree in nursing with post-master's NP certificate; terminal degree preferred.
- Unencumbered California RN license, California NP license, and national NP certification.
- Minimum of one year of direct patient care experience; teaching experience preferred.
- Evidence of ability to teach and engage in didactic, clinical, and on-campus activities; commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.
Nice to Have
- Teaching experience in higher education (preferred).
- Terminal degree (preferred).
