About the Role The Post Doctoral Research Fellow will join the Vickman laboratory in Evanston, IL to investigate inflammatory cells in benign prostatic hyperplasia. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, reliable, curious, proficient in written and verbal English, and capable of independent research.
What You'll Do
- Manage, organize and plan the experimental work of the laboratory with the approval of the principal investigator.
- Design, set up, conduct, and correlate a variety of difficult experiments (original and standard).
- Regularly review scientific literature; evaluate and recommend applicable techniques and procedures.
- Analyze and prepare results of research in conjunction with the principal investigator(s).
- Co-author scientific papers for presentation and publication.
