Position Summary
The Portfolio Manager is a senior leadership role within the Technology PMO, responsible for the strategic planning, prioritization, governance, and delivery oversight of one or more technology portfolios. Serving as a trusted partner to Technology Directors, portfolio owners, business leaders, and peer Portfolio Managers, this role ensures that technology investments, programs, projects, operational initiatives align with the firm’s strategic priorities.
The Portfolio Manager develops and maintains multi-year portfolio roadmaps, provides transparency into resource capacity and demand, and facilitates informed investment and prioritization decisions. The role also manages portfolio-level risks, dependencies, financial performance, and delivery outcomes while promoting alignment and coordination across technology portfolios.
In addition to portfolio oversight, the Portfolio Manager may directly lead selected high-priority or complex initiatives and provide leadership, coaching, and direction to Program Managers and Project Managers.
