Job purpose
The Portfolio Lead - Property Management (Egypt) is responsible for the growth, operational performance and client satisfaction of the Property Management business within Egypt.
The role combines business development, solution development, costing and pricing, portfolio oversight, client relationship management and team leadership. The incumbent will actively identify and secure new property management mandates, prepare commercial proposals and operating models, mobilise new contracts and oversee service delivery across managed assets.
The role will oversee a portfolio comprising shopping centers, office buildings, mixed-use developments, commercial assets and future property management mandates within Egypt.
The Portfolio Lead will act as the primary market representative for Property Management in Egypt and will work closely with the Head of Property Management to achieve growth and operational excellence objectives.
What you will be doing
- Develops and recommends property management solutions, staffing structures and commercial proposals for prospective clients.
- Approves operational recommendations within delegated authority limits.
- Manages budgets and expenditure within approved mandates.
- Oversees recruitment and deployment of property management teams.
- Makes recommendations regarding pricing, staffing structures and management fees for new opportunities.
- Manages client relationships and service delivery in accordance with signed Property Management Agreements.
- Interprets and implements business strategy as communicated by Senior Management.
What you will bring
- Strong understanding of the local real estate market.
- Minimum 7-10 years' experience within commercial property management.
- Experience as a Property Manager, Senior Property Manager or Portfolio Manager either:
- Directly employed by a property owner, developer or REIT; or
- Employed by an international or local real estate services firm.
- Proven experience managing:
- Shopping Centres
- Office Buildings
- Mixed-Use Developments
- Proven experience in client relationship management.
- Proven experience managing budgets and operational service delivery.
Highly Advantageous
- Experience within real estate firms.
- Demonstrated business development experience.
- Experience preparing proposals, tenders and management fee structures.
- Existing relationships with developers, landlords, investors and institutional property owners in Egypt.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Facilities Management, Business Management, Finance or related field.
- Professional property qualification advantageous.
