About this role
About the Role Port Engineer to ensure the full technical readiness and optimum performance of our vessels, meeting service commitments while operating within necessary commercial and regulatory constraints. You will work with SBUs and departments across the Group to keep vessels safe, seaworthy and compliant with Classification Society and Flag State requirements. What You'll Do
- Coordinating and controlling the supply of spare parts and necessary vessel equipment.
- Providing guidance and solutions to technical issues to ensure full technical readiness and optimum vessel performance in meeting service commitments.
- Providing a leading role and technical expertise in the event of an emergency response situation.
- Promoting safety and safe working practices as an operational necessity.
