Pool Ambassador

Job Description

We are looking for our next Part Time Pool Ambassador to join the team here at the Resort. Working as part of the Front office team, you'll ensure the pool is a safe and fun place for guests to relax and enjoy. Your main duties will include:

• Monitor and enforce pool safety rules to ensure a positive, secure and safe environment for guests.
• Set up and arrange pool furniture, umbrellas, and other amenities
• Offer assistance with poolside amenities, such as towels and seating arrangements.
• Keep pool areas clean and tidy and conduct routine inspections
• Greet and assist guests, providing information about pool facilities and amenities
• Ensuring responsible service of alcohol is practiced at all times
• Monitoring activity in the pool for safety
• Facilitate Emergency or Police response in consultation with the duty manager where and when required

Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR is critical for this role
• Life Saving Training (ideal but the hotel will organise if needed)
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
• A guest focused attitude and willingness to provide exceptional service
• A safety-first mindset, ensuring the safety of our guests is a priority and confidence to take action where necessary
