About the Role Dayton Children's Sleep Lab is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist/RCP who is a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and Respiratory Therapist (RRT). This role conducts sleep studies, sleep staging, and technical scoring according to AASM standards and collaborates with leadership to ensure high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic Sleep Lab services. What You'll Do
- Conduct polysomnography, sleep staging, and technical scoring of sleep events according to AASM standards.
- Perform extended EEG, MSLT/MWT, and titration of oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP and ventilators as clinically indicated.
- Manage airway, including trach capping, and collect blood gas samples with analysis; provide patient/family education.
- Calibrate and troubleshoot diagnostic equipment; implement new test modalities.
- Oversee supply inventory; mentor and orient new sleep technicians; provide coverage as needed.
- Collaborate with Team Leader, Supervisor, Manager, and Medical Director to ensure quality care. What We're Looking For
- Education: Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
- Certifications: Ohio Respiratory Care Board license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) required.
- Experience: Clinical experience in polysomnography and sleep lab operations; ability to perform PSG, sleep staging, EEG, MSLT/MWT, and CPAP/BiPAP/ventilator titration; airway management and blood gas sampling. Compensation & Benefits

- Hours: Third shift 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (Mon-Fri), three 12-hour shifts (some weekends).
