About the Role The Polysomnographic Assistant supports sleep medicine care by applying treatment, managing diagnostic testing, and educating patients under the direct oversight of a Polysomnography Technologist. The role includes analysis, monitoring, and recording physiologic data during sleep and wakefulness, and supports therapeutic and diagnostic use of oxygen and PAP devices. What You'll Do
- Assist in performing polysomnography studies and related diagnostic testing under the supervision of a Polysomnography Technologist.
- Analyze, monitor, and record physiologic data during sleep and wakefulness; support therapeutic and diagnostic use of oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, adaptive servo-ventilation, and PAP modalities.
- Prepare complete report analyses for physician interpretation; interview, educate and instruct patients and their families.
- Maintain patient airways and ensure safety; assist with documentation and scoring as needed. What We're Looking For
- Education: BRPT-approved two-year polysomnography education program (CAAHEP) or A-STEP through the AASM or a CAAHEP/CoARC-approved Respiratory Therapy program.
- Licensure/Certification: American Heart Association BLS and one of the following: Registered from Medical Board of California as Polysomnographic trainee or technician; or NBRC RRT credential.

- Salary: $27.00 per hour; Schedule: Per Diem, Nights; Part-time role.
