Job title: Plumbing Technician
About the Role The Plumbing Technician installs, assembles, and supports residential plumbing systems in modular home units during the manufacturing process in an indoor warehouse/plant setting. This role focuses on new construction plumbing installation in the plant and in the field, following standardized production methods to ensure safety and quality.
What You'll Do
- Install residential plumbing systems in modular home units according to production plans and work instructions
- Measure, cut, assemble, and secure piping materials (PVC, PEX, copper, or other approved materials)
- Install drains, vents, water supply lines, fixtures, tubs, showers, and related components
- Perform basic pressure testing and visual inspections to verify proper installation
- Read and follow basic blueprints, schematics, and layout markings
- Identify and report installation issues or quality concerns to supervisors
- Coordinate work with framing, electrical, HVAC, and finishing teams
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety policies
- Meet production timelines while maintaining quality and safety expectations
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations
What We're Looking For
- Minimum one year of plumbing experience
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Demonstrated leadership skills, particularly in mentoring junior staff
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to prioritize safety in a manufacturing or construction environment

- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and reach; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; climb ladders; work in hot and cold environments, dust, moisture, and varying temperatures
Compensation & Benefits
- Full-time schedule, typically Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm. Overtime may be required based on production needs
