Plumber

The Plumber is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing the College's plumbing systems to ensure a safe, functional, and uninterrupted water supply and sanitation infrastructure. The role supports the smooth operation of Wellspring College by responding promptly to plumbing faults, carrying out preventive maintenance, and ensuring that all plumbing facilities—including toilets, bathrooms, hostels, kitchens, laboratories remain in excellent working condition.

Qualifications

• Trade Test Certificate, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Plumbing.

• Relevant vocational training or certification is an added advantage.

• Minimum of 5 years' practical plumbing experience, preferably in a school, hospital, hotel, or large facility.

• Competencies

• Strong technical plumbing knowledge.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve plumbing faults efficiently.

• Knowledge of water distribution and drainage systems.

• Good problem-solving skills.

• Basic record-keeping and reporting skills.

• Ability to read plumbing layouts and simple technical drawings.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Time management and ability to prioritise urgent repairs.
