In this role, you will report to the Sr Facilities Management Supervisor, the Plumber will provide on-site maintenance support for our client in the healthcare industry. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing services to our customer, ensuring their satisfaction and building strong relationships. Your expertise and professionalism will contribute to the overall success of our team.

Must be comfortable in a customer focused environment, in which priorities can shift quickly. Participate in schedule rotation to ensure appropriate coverage of the site.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of facility assets/systems such as pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures to maintain the water, gas, and drainage on hospital property
• Oversee heating, air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, and fire systems
• Monitor alarms, gauges and other instruments
• Carry out a preventative maintenance program through inspections of all mechanical systems and equipment associated with the plumbing and heating trade
• Additional Responsibilities may include general building maintenance.

Qualifications

• YOU MUST HAVE

• Completion of Grade 12 or GED

• Certificate of qualification as a Plumber (Red Seal)

• 5+ years of plumbing experience

• Vulnerable Sector Police clearance

• Immunization as required by the customer and in accordance with the Public Health Act

• Previous work experience in a healthcare or hospital environment

• Good English written and oral communication

• Ability to follow instructions

• Willingness to work rotating shifts

• The hourly rate for this position is $39.68/hour in Woodstock, Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
