About the Role The GBS Group has an exciting opportunity for a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Control Systems Technician. As a PLC-based Control Systems Technician with GBS, you will work both independently and with a team of designers and engineers on complex projects related to Naval ship platforms. The position will develop and design PLC control system solutions for these platforms. What You'll Do
- Develop PLC control system designs and software for naval ship platforms
- Troubleshoot PLC-based control systems and diagnose issues on complex projects
- Collaborate with designers and engineers, and train personnel on PLC operations What We're Looking For
- High school or trade school graduate with 2+ years PLC control systems experience
- Ability to read electrical schematics and use diagnostic test equipment
- Rockwell/Allen Bradley familiarity preferred
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance Nice to Have
- Linux familiarity Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $36-$46 per hour (onsite environment)
