As a Platform Technical Architect, you will spearhead the design, development, and evolution of our scalable, enterprise SaaS platform, ensuring it meets the rigorous demands of high availability, security, and performance. You will translate complex business requirements into robust microservice-based solutions using Java and Spring Boot, while architecting cloud-native infrastructure on AWS. Your deep expertise in distributed systems and event-driven architectures will drive the integration of REST APIs, asynchronous messaging, and streaming platforms such as Kafka to deliver resilient, real-time data flows. You will mentor engineering teams, establish best practices, and relentlessly optimize for scalability, caching, and resiliency, while maintaining an eye on emerging industry trends and technology innovations.

Requirements

• 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Lead the end‑to‑end design and architecture of a microservices‑based SaaS platform on AWS

• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines for Java/Spring Boot services

• Drive the implementation of robust, event‑driven communication using REST, gRPC, Kafka, or similar streaming technologies

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and resiliency through caching, load balancing, and fault‑tolerance patterns

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and DevOps teams to align platform capabilities with business strategy and release roadmap

• Mentor senior and mid‑level engineers, providing technical guidance and facilitating knowledge sharing across teams

• Conduct architectural reviews, performance audits, and security assessments to ensure compliance with enterprise standards

• Evaluate and recommend cloud services, tools, and frameworks that enhance platform capabilities and operational efficiency

• Champion continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automated testing strategies

• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive, future‑proof architecture

• 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝘁

• 14+ years of experience in product engineering and platform architecture for enterprise SaaS solutions

• Expert proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for building enterprise applications at scale

• Deep knowledge of distributed systems, cloud‑native design principles, and AWS services

• Proven track record designing and deploying microservice‑based platforms in production environments

• Extensive experience with RESTful APIs, asynchronous messaging, and event‑driven architectures using Kafka or equivalent platforms

• Strong background in performance tuning, scalability strategies, caching mechanisms, and resiliency patterns

• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams, mentor engineers, and drive architectural excellence

• Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and automated testing within a cloud context

• Effective communicator, able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders

• Passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of evolving technology landscapes.
