Job title: Platform Orchestrator Specialist
About the Role This position focuses on delivering platform orchestration capabilities and drift-management features using Humanitec Platform Orchestrator to keep deployments compliant, observable, and recoverable. You will help engineers detect drift, understand its impact across environments, and roll back changes with confidence.
What You'll Do
- Work on drift detection and visualization integrated into existing observability stacks.
- Enable precise rollback capabilities with single redeploys affecting application and infrastructure.
- Help map incidents to affected workloads and environments and drive fast remediation.
- Collaborate on IDP (Identity/Deployment Pipeline) implementations and developer self-service flows.
- Contribute to controlled rollout strategies and resilient deployment patterns.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with platform orchestration, Kubernetes, and deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with drift detection, rollbacks, and incident response.
- Understanding of observability stacks and workload-environment dependency mapping.
- Ability to work across environments (dev/staging/production) and coordinate with platform teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud providers (GCP, AWS) and Datadog; Cortex; integration with IDP tools.
- Experience building IDP workflows or developer self-service experiences.
