Job title: Platform Engineer / SRE
About the Role Cribl is seeking a Platform Engineer / SRE to empower platform engineering and SRE teams as Cribl enables SOC modernization, telemetry as a shared service, and AI-driven observability across customers. You will contribute to cloud migrations, cost control, data strategy and tiering, and build scalable observability pipelines that reduce vendor lock-in.
What You'll Do
- Architect, deploy, and operate scalable telemetry and observability platforms for customers and internal teams.
- Support SOC modernization, SIEM migration, cloud migration, and cost-control initiatives across multi-cloud environments.
- Build and maintain integrations and connectors (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, Elastic, Splunk, Exabeam, Wiz, Confluent).
- Enable DORA-compliant practices and AI Observability capabilities; deliver interactive demos and collaborations with customers.
- Create and manage data pipelines: search, enrich, transform, store, replay, redact, visualize.
- Onboard customers, ensure governance and data privacy, and collaborate with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in platform engineering, SRE, and observability with a track record of delivering scalable systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern observability tooling, SIEM migration, and security integrations.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Security, Cloud, and Data teams; strong communication and customer-facing skills.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn; comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
