About the Role Join Humanitec to help teams automate infrastructure through the Platform Orchestrator, enabling self-service, standardization, and policy-driven governance across cloud and on-prem resources. Orchestrate resources as a fleet and define reusable definitions across workloads to accelerate delivery while maintaining security and compliance. What You'll Do
- Define resources once and share them across many workloads; orchestrate creation and updates across cloud APIs or any IaC format (Terraform, Crossplane, Pulumi, CDK, etc.).
- Enable developers to self-serve with ease by allowing consumption of workloads as code or via a UI, with flexible abstraction levels.
- Orchestrate any type of IaC format and maintain templates across environments to ensure consistency and standardization.
- Set granular security rules, run policy checks, and enforce mandatory configurations in production; support sign-off workflows before final deployment.
- Provide a single API to query information (e.g., which applications depend on a resource definition) and apply updates across dependent applications.
- Visualize running resources and deployments through the Humanitec Portal and maintain a high standard of operations and governance. What We're Looking For
- Experience with platform engineering and infrastructure automation concepts.
- Familiarity with orchestrating IaC formats (Terraform, Crossplane, Pulumi, CDK) and maintaining templated resource definitions.
- Ability to configure resource definitions in code and coordinate updates across cloud and on-prem resources.
- Understanding of RBAC, policy checks, and deployment governance to enforce secure, compliant operations.
- Strong focus on developer self-service and standardization across teams. Nice to Have
- Experience with the Humanitec Platform Orchestrator and related tooling such as the Terraform Driver.
- Comfort with multiple IaC formats and producing reusable resource definitions in a preferred language.
