About the Role
Join Humanitec as a Platform Orchestrator Engineer to help AI agents provision infrastructure within the governance rules your platform team defines. You’ll work on the Platform Orchestrator that connects CI/CD, infrastructure as code, cloud accounts, and a developer portal, ensuring every request — from any interface — is provisioned according to the same rules. Humanitec doesn’t replace these foundations; it sits as the orchestration and governance layer between who requests and what gets provisioned. What You'll Do

Build and maintain the Platform Orchestrator to provision infrastructure for AI agents within defined governance rules (no tickets, no manual reviews, no surprises).

Implement and operate features like Progressive Rollouts, Impact Analysis, Rollback, Drift Detection, and Ephemeral Environments to minimize risk and accelerate delivery.

Plug in existing Terraform or OpenTofu modules and enforce standards for who can use what, and where, from all interfaces.

Provide auditability, RBAC and governance across every request and interface. What We're Looking For

Experience with platform engineering and building governance layers over CI/CD, IaC, and cloud accounts.

Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform or OpenTofu) and integration of policy-based provisioning.

Strong understanding of security, cost, and compliance considerations in cloud environments.

Ability to design scalable, rule-based provisioning workflows and deliver end-to-end self-service for developers and AI agents.
