Location: 100% Remote (must be based in Portugal) Sector: Technology

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to design, build and support development, testing and production environments, and to make software delivery smooth and reliable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, support and maintain development, testing and production environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment and environment issues
• Develop and maintain automated deployment and release processes
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration management practices
• Plan, coordinate and execute application releases and production deployments
• Work with Development, QA and Operations teams to ensure efficient delivery
• Monitor system performance, reliability and availability, and drive continuous improvement
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience

• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services

• Strong knowledge of Docker and containerisation

• Configuration management and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet)

• Building and supporting CI/CD pipelines

• Git and source code management best practices

• Linux administration and scripting

• Experience with release management and production deployments

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Nice to Have

• Terraform or similar IaC tools

• Languages: English (minimum B2)
