About the Role P&G is seeking a Plant Technician for its Chachoengsao, Thailand site. The role leads a team of lab analysts, performing routine laboratory testing, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safe, compliant operations. The position reports to the chemical laboratory leader and supports quality and process improvements. What You'll Do
- Perform analysis of Raw material, Packaging material, in-process material, bulk product and Finished Product following P&G Method.
- Maintain lab equipment/systems and perform basic troubleshooting of analytical methods and equipment.
- Review data against specifications and conduct lab investigations as needed.
- Attend training and qualification programs and maintain accurate documentation.
- Lead the day-to-day work of the lab analysts and foster a safe, compliant workplace.
- Strive to reduce defects using IWS/AM/PM/Kaizen/5S and related tools; apply failure analysis and Why-Why reasoning to troubleshoot issues.
- Develop procedures, DMS, and tracking systems to capture and sustain results. What We're Looking For
- Diploma or higher in a relevant Chemistry subject.
- Deep technical mastery in own system/equipment and ability to apply knowledge to test materials (Raw, Packaging, In-process, Bulk, Finished).
- Commitment to GMP, QAC, and 5S standards; safe workplace and compliant processes.
- Willingness to train, qualify, and maintain documentation accurately.
- Experience with nitrogen, arsenic, free amine, iodine value, hydroxyl value, identification, insoluble iron, and related assays.
- Ability to perform root-cause analysis and use tools like Why-Why, IWS, AM/PM, Kaizen for continuous improvement. Nice to Have
- Prior leadership or team coordination experience in a lab setting.
