About this role

About the Role P&G is recruiting technicians to join the Pampers manufacturing team at the Manchester Trafford Park plant. You will join a multi-skilled team responsible for operating, maintaining, daily running and troubleshooting of complex process technologies on our production lines. The plant runs 24 hours a day and technicians work a 12.5 hour shift pattern, including days and nights. We’re looking for individuals who show leadership potential, embrace change, and work effectively as part of a team to deliver high quality results. What You'll Do

  • Operate, maintain, run and troubleshoot complex process technologies on production lines to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality output.
  • Contribute to producing high quality branded products and support the Pampers manufacturing team.
  • Work as part of a multi-skilled team to deliver continuous 24/7 operations; adapt to 12.5-hour shift patterns including days and nights.
  • Take ownership for results, seek continuous improvement by suggesting and implementing changes to improve systems, work processes and equipment reliability.
  • Participate in ongoing training and receive day-to-day mentoring from your manager; benefit from continuous coaching.
  • Communicate effectively across shifts and functions to minimize losses and drive reliability. What We're Looking For
  • Proven practical background applying process, operational and mechanical skills to solve production and equipment related losses.
  • High level of personal accountability and ownership for results.
  • Leadership potential and willingness to take on difficult challenges.
  • Ability to suggest and implement changes that improve systems, processes and equipment reliability.
  • Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills enabling cross-shift and cross-function interaction.
  • Ability to contribute with minimum supervision.
  • Desire for a challenging career and not just a job.
  • Right to Work in the UK from Day 1 (no sponsorship required). Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: Starting pay with shift premium £38,588.68 (5-day pattern) rising to £40,876.68; for another shift pattern starting at £42,280.68 up to £44,568.68 with shift premium.
  • Overall salary range: £38,588.68 – £44,568.68 per year.
  • Flex4Me: £1,200 annual wellbeing allowance.
  • Pension: Company contributions match up to 14% of your pensionable pay (double your contributions).
  • Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays, increasing with service up to 30 days.
