Job title: Plant Production Supervisor

About the Role Roquette seeks a Plant Production Supervisor to ensure production targets are met at the Pantnagar unit, while adhering to SOPs, safety standards, and efficient use of resources. The role ensures production output is achieved per plan and supports safe, cost-effective operations.

What You'll Do

• Ensure monthly consumption planning for Raw Material, Chemicals, and Packaging Material.
• Carry out instructions issued by production officers.
• Supervise operations with the help of production operators.
• Ensure maintenance of equipment in good condition.
• Maintain good housekeeping and general upkeep of the section.
• Maintain in-process records in log sheets and record books.
• Ensure periodic samples are submitted to the laboratory and record findings; inform officer for corrective action if required.
• Update process and inform all exceptional matters to the Production officers.
• Ensure issued work instructions are followed by every section operator.
• Instruct and arrange for equipment repairs in case of failure.
• Be accountable for operations and activities carried in the shift.
• Ensure hygiene conditions and food safety norms in the process area.
• Maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the process, processing variables, control points, equipment; monitor personnel and resources; study methods; implement cost reductions; develop reporting procedures and systems; facilitate corrections to breakdowns within process control points; foster cooperation across departments.
