About this role
Job title: Plant Network Support
Responsibilities
- Offsite network support assisting customers to make sure that they can connect to the Vestas network
- Remote configuration, installation, and upgrade of network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and other network devices in the Wind Power Plants (WPP)
- Facilitate wind farm integration to Vestas network
- Maintain network uptime by reactive remote troubleshooting
- User management for Cisco network devices
- High-quality support, i.e., short response time and high-resolution rate
- Ticket resolution (incident resolution, request fulfillment)
- Provides input for continuous operations improvement
- Involvement in Projects
Qualifications
- Education: BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT, or equivalent
