Job title: Plant Manager

About the Role The Plant Manager is responsible for the strategic and tactical direction of the Mogadore manufacturing facility, overseeing Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain. You will drive site performance toward safety, EBITDA, equipment reliability, waste reduction, product quality, and attainment of the operations plan, while fostering a culture of Passion for Winning and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Create and execute the long-term strategic plan for the Mogadore facility, translating corporate goals into KPIs for all departments.
  • Drive Operational Excellence by managing productivity programs, standardizing processes, and leading continuous improvement (PEAK, Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Oversee daily production performance to ensure On-Time In-Full delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Ensure financial discipline: maintain plant budget, funding, and delivery of financial goals; lead problem solving on labor spend, waste, and productivity projects.
  • Identify CapEx needs and justify investments for equipment upgrades and facility improvements.
  • Develop staffing plans and provide leadership and staff development for a multi-disciplinary leadership team.
  • Enforce safety and compliance, identify risks, and maintain a zero-harm culture; interact professionally with employees and the public.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business/Finance, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 10+ years manufacturing experience; 5+ years managerial experience leading large cross-functional teams (500+ employees preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Labor-manning analysis, budgeting, Lean/Operational Excellence tools (Kaizen, 5S, TPM, DMAIC); strong executive communication.
  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (preferred).
  • Industry: Experience in high-volume plastic injection molding or consumer goods manufacturing (preferred).
  • Leadership: Exceptional problem-solving, strategic thinking, and ability to drive site profitability.
