Job title: Plant Maintenance Technician

Linde Advanced Material Technologies is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician at the Pittsburg, CA site to coordinate and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems. You will oversee repairs and maintenance activities, support SOP development, and participate in process safety activities such as HAZOPs and FMEAs, acting as a site liaison with the corporate process safety group and overseeing new equipment installations.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems
• Schedule and oversee repair, modification, and maintenance activities; support SOP development and review
• Participate in process safety activities including HAZOPs and FMEAs; act as site liaison with corporate process safety group; oversee new equipment installations
• Ensure safe work practices by maintenance and operations personnel
• Provide technical input on equipment lifecycle and new equipment purchases
• Coordinate material and equipment movement; contribute to Six Sigma projects; perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor of Science (preferred) or high school diploma or GED
• 3–5 years of equipment maintenance experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of OSHA Process Safety Management elements (Mechanical Integrity, Management of Change, Operating Procedures)
• Welding techniques knowledge; experience with high‑pressure piping systems; familiarity with cryogenic pumps and systems
• Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft applications

Nice to Have

• Bachelor of Science degree (preferred)
• Additional certifications or process safety credentials

• Pay range: $30.00 - $38.00 hourly
