Job title: Plant Logistics Engineer
About the Role We are seeking a Plant Logistics Engineer to promote safety culture and design/implement Supply-Chain & Packaging solutions for OPTIMAP, OPTIPRO, or Productivity projects, coordinating with manufacturing PMs and plants to optimize lead times, packaging efficiency, and costs.
What You'll Do
- Ensure that safety policies are understood and respected within your area of responsibilities.
- Define and develop the supply-chain scheme from suppliers to customers: physical flows, information flows, outbound, inbound, internal plant, in constant contact with Manufacturing project managers and plants.
- Design layout of inbound, internal and outbound flows; dimension storage areas; analyze impacts of perimeter evolutions on organization and costs.
- Develop functional specifications for semi-finished packaging means and final packaging, in cooperation with assembly engineers, production managers and plant engineers; manage trials and reception of packaging means until customer approval.
- Calculate the supply-chain & packaging budget (cost per part, investments) and ensure quotations use standard equipment and processes.
- Identify and escalate industrial risks; support plant during start-up and ramp-up phases.
- Participate in supplier selection with Purchasing (Transport, SILS, Platforms, Packaging, Dynamic storage); provide technical validation of selected solutions.
- Document and implement supply-chain processes and policies; manage logistics FMEA and audits as needed.
- Define and contribute to information systems requirements related to SCOOP BO; design inbound, internal and outbound flows.
- Provide ongoing support to manufacturing projects and plants throughout AVP phases and project development.

- Ability to define stock levels, lead times and packaging requirements; familiarity with AVP phases, POMS, SCOOP BO (as per project environment).
Nice to Have
- Experience with AVP phases, PFEP, packaging trials, SCOOP BO, and POMS.
- Familiarity with packaging development, supplier selection, and dynamic storage.
