Plant Financial Analyst

The Plant Financial Analyst supports the financial operations of a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role partners with the Controller, Assistant Controller, and plant leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, payroll processing, inventory controls, and month-end close activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
• Process weekly payroll and related reporting.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Assist with inventory control processes, including cycle counts, BOM audits, and physical inventories.
• Prepare weekly operational labor reports.
• Support fixed asset accounting and vendor chargeback processes.
• Assist with SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit requests.
• Cross-train across accounting functions and provide backup support as needed.
• Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

• 1-4 years of accounting or manufacturing finance experience preferred.
• Strong Excel, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing accounting experience.
• Payroll and inventory accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, AS400, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Kronos, Coupa, or related financial systems.
