About the Role
The Plant Engineer will be a key member of the Engineering team at the Cary, North Carolina plant, reporting to the Engineering & Facilities Manager. You’ll provide technical leadership for capital projects, facility maintenance, construction initiatives, and related programs, driving continuous improvement through Mars Work Systems as part of Kellanova’s manufacturing excellence. The Cary site is a strategic growth location within Mars’ Snacks division, with ongoing automation and Smart Factory initiatives. What You'll Do

Lead and direct continuous technical improvement of the facility, equipment, and production systems.

Ensure projects are executed to meet program objectives, budgets, and schedules.

Collaborate with corporate engineering, contracted service partners, Plant Operations teams, and Quality teams.

Partner with Plant engineering, Operations, Maintenance and Global Engineering to deploy corporate technical strategies aligned with plant goals and performance.

Establish and track function-specific KPIs and support Mars Work Systems continuous improvement efforts.

Manage, prepare, and justify expenses and capital budgets for the Engineering & Facilities department. What We're Looking For

Comprehensive managerial and technical background in a plant environment.

Project management, budgeting, communication, and excellent human relations skills.

Management experience in a technical capacity.

High School diploma/GED and ten (10) years of relevant experience. Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $90,720 - $136,080 per year.
