Plant Controller

About the Role

As a Plant Controller, you will be a strategic partner and leader within the Oak Creek plant's Operations Finance team. You will shape and influence key financial decisions to drive operational excellence and long-term success, reporting to the Operations Finance Manager on-site at the Oak Creek, WI manufacturing plant.

• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with plant leadership to develop and implement performance improvement plans that enhance productivity and optimize costs. Provide insights that guide critical decisions and foster financial discipline and operational excellence.

• Leadership in Financial Planning: Lead and coordinate the plant-wide budget process, working across all departments to set achievable productivity and cost-saving targets; ensure financial goals are met and exceeded.

• Insightful Analytics: Utilize detailed analytics to identify key areas for financial improvement; provide actionable insights that drive decision-making and improve cost control and operational efficiency.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Operations, Supply Chain, and Demand Planning to align financial strategies with broader business objectives; ensure seamless communication across the plant and with business unit finance.

• Capital Investment Strategy: Partner with plant leadership to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for capital spending; prioritize critical projects and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with plant goals.

• Post-Investment Analysis: Conduct post-completion evaluations of significant investments to ensure objectives are met and lessons learned are integrated into future projects.

• Inventory Optimization: Lead inventory health across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods; collaborate with the MRO store room team to ensure inventory accuracy and drive continuous improvement in excess and obsolete inventory management. What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.

• 6+ years of experience in cost accounting or financial support within a manufacturing environment.

• Proven track record of influencing financial results and leading cross-functional teams.

• ERP experience required – Oracle preferred. Compensation & Benefits
