Plant Buyer

About the Role As Plant Buyer you will play a critical part in keeping our operations running by ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services that support our manufacturing processes. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to align sourcing with business objectives and drive continuous improvement. What You'll Do

• Support the development and execution of Global Supply Management (GSM) strategies, ensuring sourcing decisions, supplier selection, and procurement activities align with business objectives, operational needs, and long-term supply chain goals.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships from sourcing through contract administration, leading negotiations, supporting supplier performance reviews and audits, and driving continuous improvement in quality, delivery, cost, and service.
• Partner with manufacturing sites and cross-functional teams—including Materials, Quality, Engineering, and Operations—to ensure supply continuity, resolve issues, optimize costs, and support business-critical initiatives.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve procurement processes, policies, and supply management practices, promoting operational efficiency, cost competitiveness, compliance, and ethical business standards.
• Ensure compliance with Global Supply Management policies, purchasing guidelines, audit requirements, and applicable regulatory standards, while championing responsible sourcing and environmental stewardship across the supply base. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in procurement and indirect materials supply chain management within a manufacturing environment, with exposure to operations, planning, quality, engineering, or supply chain.
• Experience managing sourcing and supplier relationships, including purchasing processes, supplier negotiations, contract management, and procurement systems (GSM experience preferred).
• Advanced English proficiency Nice to Have
