Job Description

This role is accountable for supplier tracking and monitoring delivery for components/suppliers assigned as high risk for the plant, interaction with suppliers on his/her area of responsibility but not limited to them, and tracking supplier performance.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Generate and distribute weekly open order reports and shortage reports- for each supplier
• Upload supplier commit dates into SAP/LeanDNA
• Obtain and communicate shipment tracking information to Planning and Receiving teams to ensure visibility of incoming materials
• Maintain accurate tracking/shipment information in SAP/LeanDNA
• Track supplier shipments and coordinate with Transportation teams to resolved delivery issues and escalations
• Monitor, track and report on supplier compliance to delivery due dates, identify risks to late delivery
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Working knowledge of SAP/MAPICS and experience in SAP/MAPICS environment a Must

• Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel.

• General understanding of manufacturing and production processes.

• Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills essential.
