Job title: Planning and Material Lead
About the Role A new role has arisen within the Domino Liverpool Supply Chain team. The Planning and Materials Lead will oversee the management and coaching of the planning and materials teams, ensuring the smooth flow of materials from raw materials and components to issuing an effective production plan. The role includes coordinating suppliers, optimising the supply chain and driving continuous improvements of KPIs such as OTIF, fluid availability, stock turns and scrap reduction.
What You'll Do
- Lead and coach the planning and materials teams to deliver a robust production plan and material flow.
- Coordinate suppliers and optimise supply chain performance across the business.
- Drive continuous improvements of key KPIs (OTIF, fluid availability, stock turns, scrap reduction).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders to meet customer requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Degree level (maths/sciences/engineering/manufacturing/computing advantageous) or relevant experience; proven experience in Supply Chain or Operations.
- Proven people management capability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with data extraction/analysis tools (MS Access, Excel, TM1, Oracle, Discoverer, Minitab).
- ERP experience (Oracle preferred; SAP or other similar systems).
- CIPS or CILT qualification desirable, or ambition to obtain.
- Exceptional communication, engagement and influencing skills.
- Understanding of Lean, Kaizen/Focused Improvement and 6S; Green Belt advantageous.
- Ability to multitask and solve problems creatively; drive to solution; customer-centric mindset.
- Flexible and adaptable to fluctuating workload and demand.
