About the Role Tower Semiconductor is seeking a Planning Analyst to help ensure the uninterrupted supply of indirect and spare parts inventory, maintain accurate records, and optimize planning to support manufacturing operations and financial objectives. You will forecast demand, set MIN/MAX levels, and work across the SAP environment to improve inventory effectiveness. What You'll Do
- Forecast demand and set inventory target quantities, including MIN/MAX levels for indirect materials and spare parts
- Conduct data mining and statistical analysis of inventory movements within SAP to determine optimum planning criteria
- Review daily inventory consumption (GI) and receipts (GR) to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Create and maintain tools to review and optimize inventory throughput and identify slow-moving or obsolete categories
- Use SAP to assign item planning codes and maintain master data for parts
- Assist in developing the Annual Parts Inventory Plan for Indirect and Spare Parts; collaborate with FAB engineering for spare parts requirements
- Recommend modifications to planning profiles to ensure proper financial classification and optimization
- Perform trend analysis for product categories to determine stocking policies
- Coordinate and monitor the daily Cycle Counting program for ESR inventories; generate daily/monthly reports
- Update cycle counting transactions to reconcile discrepancies
- Maintain records of inventory transactions and ensure compliance with quality policies
- Maintain the Machine Down database and generate weekly/monthly reports to identify causes of downtime
- Support ad-hoc analyses, special projects, or additional tasks as directed by supply chain management
- Perform other related duties as assigned
